Undergrads ─ A Chance to Get Involved in Research

The Design Engineering Laboratory's project "KINdReD" (Knowledge and Methods for Inclusive Product Design), funded by the National Science Foundation and overseen by Professor Robert Stone, is looking for a few students for paid hourly work. The current stage of the KINdReD project involves the collection of customer needs for handheld products from people with upper extremity disabilities as well as people wearing a disability simulation suit.  The work would involve mainly recruiting participants as well as scheduling and performing the testing directly with the participants. Interested students should contact PhD candidate Jessica Armstrong [armstroj@oregonstate.edu] by email ─ include Kindred in the subject line ─ with a letter explaining why you want to work for us, what would make you good at human subject testing, and a list of any relevant experience.
