The School of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Oregon State comprises about 37 academic faculty and instructors, 20 professional faculty, staff and research associates, 1600 undergraduates, and 200 masters and doctoral students.

We offer undergraduate degree programs in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, and energy systems engineering and graduate programs in mechanical and industrial engineering and materials science.

As leaders in the emerging interdisciplinary research areas of their fields, our faculty collectively bring in about $8 million annually in research funding, with annual individual expenditures averaging about $310,000.
