Dr. Horta Martinez research is on technology management initiatives in small manufacturing organizations. Understanding how ready are managers and employees to embrace technology and what effects does this have in the success of the organization. Her focus is on technology readiness, management of the systems, as well as continuous process improvement approaches such as Lean Manufacturing.
