Academic Advisor for MIME Undergraduate Programs

Hello! My name is Adam Hemminger and I am originally from the Akron, Ohio area. I attended The University of Akron, where I first completed a B.A. in Geography. After completing my undergraduate degree, I returned to the University of Akron, earning my M.A. Ed. in Higher Education Administration. I have over eight years of experience working higher education, in areas including residence life and housing, a registration office, and academic advising. In my free time, I enjoy a number of outdoor activities, such as hiking, backpacking, going for a jog, camping, riding my bicycle, and gardening. If I’m not at work, there’s a decent chance you’ll find me with a guitar on my lap. Other than that, I enjoy reading and watching documentaries, and I have recently taken up drawing and cooking. I also have a bucket list goal of visiting every national park in the U.S. While I try to stay connected with friends and family back in Ohio, I am loving the Corvallis area and Oregon State University!
