Learning Outcomes

The student, upon successful completion of this course, will be able to:

  1. Derive the equations of motion for single and multiple DOF mechanical systems.
  2. Solve for the vibration response for single DOF systems, including systems with arbitrary forcing.
  3. Solve for the vibration response for classes of multiple DOF systems.
  4. Solve for the vibration response for continuous systems.
