Students

In our opinion, Oregon State Mechanical Engineering students are some of this university's greatest assets. In addition to their academic and technical strengths, our students exhibit perseverance, integrity, leadership, and team spirit.

Through their scholarship, their service and outreach activities, and their participation in engineering competitions, research efforts, and work with industry, OSU ME students make a difference here on campus, in the broader Corvallis community, throughout the Pacific Northwest, and for that matter around the world. And they know how to have fun, too!

We have approximately 700 undergraduate and 85 graduate students working toward their BS, MS, and PhD degrees. Our 110-strong 2005 baccaluareate graduating class is the largest yet in the 112-year history of OSU's oldest and definitely best engineering department.
