Dr. Kruzic's research focuses on the mechanical properties (e.g., deformation, fracture, and fatigue) of advanced structural materials and biomaterials, including metals, ceramics, intermetallics, interfaces, composites, and biological materials.
Dr. Kruzic is also affiliated with the Materials Science interdisciplinary graduate program at Oregon State. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Oregon Metals Initiative (OMI), Intel Corporation, PCC Structurals Inc., and ESCO Corporation.
