Oregon University system are invited to the 1st annual OUS
Sustainability Conference on October 23rd
& 24th, at the University of Oregon. For
more info about this event, click here.
The following is an
excerpt from the letter of invitation by OSU Chancellor, George

Please join me on October 23rd–24th in
Eugene for the first ever OUS Sustainability conference. We'll explore the
cutting edge in sustainable campus operations and student engagement. Experts
in energy conservation, carbon markets, organizational change, co-curricular
activities, purchasing, recycling, and more will lead thought-provoking
sessions designed to inspire us to ratchet up our efforts to transform our
campuses. Your attendance as decision makers, auxiliaries
managers, program directors, staff, and students is necessary so that we can
build communication networks, learn from each other's experiences, and
implement new policies and programs. Please bring your ideas, passion, and
enthusiasm to help transform our campuses into 21st century models of
sustainability.
