A variable number of thesis credits may be registered for by students in master’s programs which are leading to a published thesis. Students should register for the section which corresponds to the faculty member who is guiding their research. Students should register for the number of thesis credits which brings their registration up to full time after they have registered for any classroom-style courses for a given term. In some cases, students may register for just three credits of thesis to meet the graduate school’s requirement that they be registered for a minimum of three graduate credits each term in which they are pursuing a graduate degree.
At the end of each term, a grade of “R” will be recorded on the student’s transcript.
This course is repeatable for a maximum of 999 credits, but only a maximum of 12 credits may be listed on a student’s program of study.
