The strength of Oregon State University's Manufacturing Engineering program is borne out by our graduates' strong academic skills coupled with practical experience. The majority of MfgE students participate in MECOP, which involves two six-month structured internships that become an integral part of their educational process. Also, because of the close association between manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering, many of our students elect to pursue an MfgE & IE Dual Major or Double Degree.
